Johnson new president of the NPWBA

DEVIN Johnson has been elected as the new president of the New Providence Women's Basketball Association.

During the elections held during the annual general meeting on Friday night at the Water and Sewerage Corporation, Mynez Cargill did not seek another term in office as president. Johnson was elected as the new president, beating out Jarelle Nairn.

Others elected to serve with Johnson are Annie Moultrie as first vice president, Donnie Culmer as second vice president, Shadell Williams as third vice president, Britenique Harrison as fourth vice president, Latondra Brown as secretary, Denequa Carey as treasurer, Christine Charlton as public relations officer and Norman Humes as commissioner.

The newly elected board has not yet revealed when they intend to start the new season.
