THE Blue Chips Athletic Club, headed by Corrington Maycock, is all set to hold its fifth annual Throwers Summer Camp 9am to 3pm July 23-28 at Queen's College campus.

April Smith, in her fourth season as an assistant coach in charge of the Fresno State throws group, will be in town to facilitate the camp along with her husband Robert, a former throws coach at Appalachian State, now coaching at a high school in Fresno State.

Ronald Cartwright, Maycock's former mentor and coach when he competed, will also be a part of the camp. Cartwright is the head coach of RC Athletics.

ADDED

Demetre Johnson and Cameron Cooper were the latest members added to Team Bahamas - bringing the total to 11 - to represent the Bahamas at the Esports Championships in Daytona Beach, Florida, from today through July 2.

They will join Alex Butler, Derek Wong, Elrich Walker, Deshawn Bain, Noah Laville, Derdrick D Ferguson, Yarrow Issacs, Rickeem Butler, D'angelo Rolle and Akeem Mullings, making it the largest team ever assembled to represent the Bahamas.
