POLICE have identified a security guard found dead at a seafood processing centre last week as 24-year-old David Nelson of Palm Tree Avenue.
Nelson’s body was discovered with visible injuries by police who were called to the establishment to investigate an apparent shopbreaking and stealing complaint. Authorities have not released an official cause of death, but maintain that foul play is suspected. An autopsy is needed before an official cause of death is released.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 911 or 919, the Central Detective Unit at 502-9991 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 328-TIPS.
Investigations continue.
