DEERFIELD Academy and Impact Tennis Academy player Emma Weech has been named the Athlete of the Week for their girls' varsity team.
Weech has been a fantastic new addition to the team this year. She has played positions 1-4 and logged a number of victories.
On Saturday at the New England Championships, Weech had a superb performance, defeating her Hotchkiss opponent in two sets. Based on her performance, some things are already expected for her next year.
