THE Government Secondary Schools Sports Association is slated to begin its best-of-three volleyball championships 4pm today at the AF Adderley Gymnasium. The match-ups are as follows:

Junior Girls

HO Nash Lions versus AF Adderley Fighting Tigers.

Junior Boys

SC McPherson Sharks vs CH Reeves Raptors,

Senior girls

Anatol Rodgers Timberwolves vs CV Bethel Stingrays.

Senior boys

Government High Magics vs Dame Doris Johnson Mystic Marlins.

Game two in all series will be played on Tuesday. If necessary, the third and deciding games will be played on Wednesday.

BASEBALL

JBLN PRE-SEASON

THE Junior Baseball League of Nassau will open its 2018 pre-season 6:30pm Wednesday at the St Andrew’s College Field of Dreams.

Five weeks of pre-season games will be played through December 9 leading up to the 2019 season opening on January 12.

The league announces that the 30th season of organised baseball and softball will feature 35 teams in seven divisions with 450 boys and girls competing.
