Get into the Ark!

By Minister Keith Evans

The judgement is coming and it is rapidly approaching. The second advent of Jesus Christ is almost here, and boy, I can't wait. Hey, nothing wrong with salivating over such a glorious, magnificent event that is about to occur.

Most devout believers would attest to the foregone conclusion of anticipating the "Parousia" of Jesus Christ. Parousia is a transliteration of the actual Greek word, which means second coming.

I want to appeal to every reader reading this article who don't know Jesus, to turn to God. Luke 17:26-27: "And as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man. 'They ate, they drink, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all'."

There should be great ecstasy and rhapsody for all who are Christians, because this particular Scripture is now being fulfilled. Now with that being said, how many people perished during the Diluvian period? These are the days that people are partying, clubbing, carousing and doing all sorts of ungodly things. It's time to get into the "Ark of Safety", which is Jesus Christ.

Genesis 6:14 says: "Make yourself an ark of gopherwood; make rooms in the ark, and cover it inside and outside with pitch." God had initially instructed Noah and his three sons to build an ark. Well, can I tell you that the ark that is now open for humanity to enter is Jesus. In Him there is salvation and deliverance. In Him there is complete safety. As Genesis 6:17 tells us: "And behold, I myself am bringing floodwaters on the earth, to destroy from under heaven all flesh in which is the breath of life; everything that is on earth shall die."

During the Antediluvian period, Noah preached for 120 years, according to Scripture.

Look at the daily news feeds such as CNN, MSNBC, FOX and a plethora of news channels and you'll see that we're right there. Wars, rumours of wars, famines, pestilences, not to mention the great falling away. God showed mercy on the people of the Antediluvian period by lengthening the lifespan of Methuselah. Methuselah means, "When he dies it will come!" What will come? The deluge! Noah's flood, which killed every living thing on the face of the earth, except those within the ark. The flood came on the same year that Methuselah died, which was a sign to his generation of the impending judgement. He lived a robust 969 years, which was incredible all things considered. God was extending His mercy to the people in Noah's day by the lengthy lifespan of Methuselah. Think about it. After Methuselah died, the judgement came.

It's time to repent, for Jesus is soon to come. Time is swiftly running out. Romans 6:23: "For the wages of sin is death (lake of fire), but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."

Get into the "Ark of Safety" which is Jesus. Bahamas, my heart's desire is to see you all saved and delivered! Write me at keithevans242@gmail.com or kenazevans242@gmail.com.
