A Freeport man was charged with rape on Friday in the Grand Bahama Magistrate's Court.
Jamal Jeremy Lightbourne, 33, was arraigned before Deputy Chief Magistrate Debbye Ferguson. He was not required to enter a plea to the charge and was remanded to the Bahamas Department of Correctional Services until February 4, 2019.
