IT’S heartbreaking to hear that a school administrator allegedly beat a disrespectful student to the extent where he had bruises on his posterior. Especially since in this enlightened day and age there are alternatives available - such as the application, with appropriate dignity, of an electrified cattle prod.

People often overlook the fact that emotional wounds from a harsh tongue cuts much deeper and lasts much longer and has more of a negative impact than a sore behind from a cane!
Physical discipline serves a purpose when properly administered and has brought many a way child back in line, but not every child responds to it, so appropriate discipline based on the type of child is needed!
