With deep thoughts and a heavy heart, the Bahamas Bowling Federation announced the passing of former national champion Richard ‘Ritchie’ Pyfrom Monday night.
Pyfrom was a man who rose to the pinnacle of bowling success in the Bahamas when he captured the Bahamas Bowling Nationals a few years ago.
He was also a former member of the Bahamas National Bowling Team and represented the Bahamas in many international competitions.
At the time of his demise, he was a member of the E & U Watercoolers of the City Bowling League.
On behalf of president Tyrone Knowles, his executive team, members of the federation and the wider bowling community, the federation offered their heartfelt condolences to his family, especially his brother, Johann Pyfrom who is a member of the bowling community.
The federation also indicated that they are keeping Pyfrom’s mother, wife, children and other family members in their thoughts and prayers.
The bowling community has lost a nationalist and teammate.
