THE 66th annual National Family Island Regatta got underway yesterday in picturesque George Town, Exuma.
In the Commodore Emeritus Cup for Class C, Xena won the title, followed by H20 and Bul Reg in third.
There was also a Class E for the Ministry of Agriculture Cup. Man-O-War won that title with Hot Mix as the runner-up. Sailing competition will intensify today with races held in all classes, including A, B, C and D.
The regatta will run through Sunday when the new champions will be decided. Here’s a look at some of the action on the water during on day one.
