WOW 36 years after being sentenced to Life two black Americans were freed and their sentences totally pardoned…36 years and finally the truth.
This is no different from the position of Capital Punishment, hanging…if the system makes a mistake at least with life imprisonment there is a chance to reprieve, but when you break that neck, no chance.
We know certain leading politicians are hang-dem high advocates…what occurred in the US this week hopefully will cause them to reconsider and switch their support to Life rather than taking life? Thirty six years is a very, very long time, but the truth came out…the system had failed, but it could reprieve the prisoners and give them freedom.

What is also terrible is the number of criminals that get off scott free because of policing and/or legal errors/omissions. Being caught red handed doesn't count for much any more as there are so many legal loop holes for people to jump through and escape conviction. Both sides of the coins are infuriating. Hopefully technology will find a better way to end the life of criminals and to save the lives of innocent people.
