THE man shot to death last week in Freeport has been officially identified as 34-year-old Walter Dremiz, also known as Walter Direny, of Lewis Yard and Limewood Lane.
According to police reports, officers responded to a shooting that occurred shortly before 11pm on Wednesday, December 11 at Redwood Lane and Carissa Street.
On arrival, police discovered the lifeless body of a male lying on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds to the body.
Initial investigations revealed that Dremiz was riding his bicycle in the area when he was approached by armed culprits who shot him.
An investigation is ongoing.
