TWO men were taken to hospital following a shooting incident on Sunday in the Eight Mile Rock area.
According to police, three men are in custody assisting them with their investigations into matter.
Assistant Superintendent of Police Terecita Pinder reported that shortly after 4pm police were called to Hanna Hill, EMR, where a group of men were gambling and started arguing. According to reports, a lone gunman exited a white vehicle and opened fire on the group, injuring two men. The victims were transported by private vehicle to the Rand Memorial Hospital where they were seen by doctors.
ASP Pinder said that one man was treated and discharged, and the other is still detained in stable condition at hospital.
