The blockbuster hit movie Jaws had a tag line something like “Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water ……”
The sip-sip on social media says that the Prime Minister, being unhappy with the financial distribution of garbage collection contracts, has now cancelled a number of them and reallocated routes to other parties, some of which are not even in the business of garbage collection, nor do they have suitable equipment yet. I guess no one told Doc that if it ain’t broke ya een gats to fix it, eh!
I guess no one told Doc that his own government policy says that government contracts are only to be awarded based on an open tender process!
Sounds like 1984!!!
