How good is your memory? When did the first CCTV camera go up in downtown? Did crime decrease from the petty pick-pocketing and selling of drugs? It still goes on today with cameras.
Certain areas south of the arch CCTV - has that stopped a single criminal act? How many prosecutions and importantly guilty verdicts were assisted by using photographic CCTV evidence?
Generally crime continues in the now traditional areas - the Police acknowledge that and confirm…. We know where they are but what happens? What are they doing about it?
So we are going to purchase 55 - yes FIFTY-FIVE drones - we have signed a ShooterSpotter system. My question is polling being driven by the Talk Shows and not scientifically? Is all this purchasing just to satisfy the Talk Show listeners?
Question - Can a drone fly over my private property? Can I shoot it down? Will these drones have the capability, to listen to electronic communication and take photographs? Is my privacy dead? Public wake up! 1984 cometh!
