I see three ships ...

Prince George Wharf - Cruise Port Management

It seems there are some very high stakes in the current RFP from the Ministry…those seemingly bidding are certainly trying their hardest to influence those who have zero influence…Joe public! What a laugh.

Positioning - lobbying what a waste of everyone’s time as there is singularly one and solely one issue.

Whoever can guarantee we receive more boats very early on their itinerary rather than being the usual except for the three-day econ-cruises, if possible and might a condition of winning this RFP - guarantee at least three-mega ships in Nassau port on the first or least second port of call of the cruise out of the US.

Anything less a total waste of time…we are going to get a two-three percent natural increase as the boats are getting larger and larger but that means nothing if the Nassau port of call is the last but one or worse the last port of call - take it from research the cruise takers are by then broke - credit cards exhausted as also the debit cards.

The bidders who cannot guarantee this, need not bid.

I agree completely. By time our visitors reach they are already in 'just want to get home' mode. The last day(s) of every trip are when you, in your mind, plan all the things you need to do when you get home. You try to get the last bit of relaxation in and you are 'done' with shopping and the hassle of tours and crowds.
