POLICE are investigating a triple shooting that occurred in the Milton Street area late Monday.
According to police, shortly before 8pm, a group of men were at the rear of a building when they were approached by a gunman.
The assailant opened fire in direction of the men, injuring all three of them before escaping the scene on foot.
The injured men were transported to hospital, where up to press time, two of them were listed in stable condition and the other in serious condition.
Police are appealing to members of the public who may have information that can assist in solving this incident to contact the Central Detective Unit at 502-9991/2, Crime stoppers at 328-TIPS (8477) or the nearest police station.
