Kalik Summer Bowling League heats up

PLAY continued in the Kalik Summer Bowling League Tournament Monday night at Mario’s Bowling and Family Entertainment Centre with 10 teams competing for a 1st place prize of $1,200, 2nd place $600 and 3rd place $400.

The Strike Force team, led by an outstanding performance from MVP Alfred Burrows and runner-up Marcharia McDonald, went from a 4th place deficit of 130 into 1st by 31 pins.

Burrows led all scorers with a 612 high three game series. Teammate Marcharia McDonald followed with the 2nd high game of 235 and the 2nd high set of 611. Lee Davis of The Advocates mowed down the pins for an outstanding high game of 264.

The top four standings after the 2nd week of 6 & 30 games each are:
