SUMMER tennis camps all over the Bahamas were conducted during the month of July and they all were very successful.
In Eleuthera, Artie Johnson held his 20th annual Summer Camp in Palmetto Point.
The Artie Johnson Camp had visiting speakers who provided guidance to the young campers.
The speakers from the community included Rev Godfrey Bethel, Rev Ricardo Dean, Kache Knowles and Larry Forbes.
The Bahamas Lawn Tennis Association (BLTA) congratulates Mr Johnson on another year of dedicated service to the sport of tennis and to the people of Eleuthera.
In addition, Danny Rigby and MacArthur Rigby both held successful camps in Freeport, Grand Bahama.
Danny Rigby’s camp is being held at Lucayan Towers and is providing the kids with various tennis skills.
MacArthur Rigby saw a significant amount of newcomers at the YMCA sporting facility.
He expressed pleasure in servicing these young and eager children.
The BLTA extends congratulations to all the coaches who are conducting tennis camps across The Bahamas, introducing to some and reintroducing to others the rudiments of tennis.
