Pay up or be shamed . . .

EDITOR, The Tribune

We owe $400 plus million on Real Property Taxes…Mr Minister - Mr Acting Financial Secretary a very, very simple method is to write to the people and/or their companies and give them 30-days to settle. In the letter you advise them if in 30-days the debts have not been cleared then the Ministry will run advertisements indicating and identifying those who owe this incredibly large amount. Yes, as previously done, then $330,000.00 was paid in days…I suggest those who have it will dig and write the cheques.

Minister - Acting Financial Secretary, no discounts or breaks remember the stupidity before when discounts were given to real Property Taxes owing on commercial property - to the uneducated the majority of that is paid for by those who are renting the property!

Whoever you are pay up or be shamed…if this FNM is really behind transparency then let the axe fall where it has to.

Pay up or be shamed, your choice. No discounts or reductions!
