THE New Providence Wholesalers Modified Pitch Softball League continued its regular season action over the weekend at the Baillou Hills Sporting Complex.

The Outsiders batted around the clock to score 10 runs in the first inning in a game played at the Blue Hills Sporting Complex.
Martin Burrows Jr scored four runs and drove in three runs with a home run. D’Andre Rigby and Nathaniel McKinney went 2-for-4 with Rigby scoring three runs, drove in one run, while McKinney scored two runs and drove in two runs with a home run.
The Outsiders batted around three innings to complete the game in three innings. Pitcher Sherman Ferguson fanned 13 batters en route to a one-hitter game.

Pitcher Shannon Davis led the Mighty Mitts to score nine runs in four innings, against the Stallions, who scored 13 runs in its lead.
From that point, the game was close when Junel Bain relieved Davis as the new pitcher bringing his team to victory. Bain also helped his team victory by scoring 5 runs, 6 hits, and drove in 4 runs.
Shannon Davis (4-for-5), score four runs and drove in a run. Kenneth Curry (3-for5), scored three runs and two RBI. Chris McPhee (2-for-5) scored three runs with three RBI. Young Boyz won by default over USS Truckers.
