Are we getting the security we deserve? No . . .

EDITOR, The Tribune

The issues at National Security - are we getting the service and the security we should be receiving bearing in mind the enormous percentage of the National Budge expended?

RBDF:

Interdiction - passing grade

Paperwork, indicting/charging the alleged criminals – failing grade

Visibility in the community - well, sort of acceptable level, but in certain areas residents have almost no idea what a patrol car looks like – almost 100 percent reliance on the public for reporting a criminal act.

RBDF: We forget - and the current Minister alludes constantly that the blame here is on the PLP. But, Editor, it was the FNM/Tommy ‘T” as Minister who chose the new patrol craft,

Project Sandy Bottom was rather obvious: the build-finance was a good idea but the project has been completed for months and as yet it seems RBDF has not transferred command to Inagua. Unless our fishing fleet and the private yachts advise the RBDF dem folks blind as a bat. Haitian sloops after Haitian sloops sail right past and no one seems to be awake. Failing grade.

I really have to wonder what the RBDF do all day.

Yesterday Minister was spinning again - why do we need more expensive patrol cars? Address, sir, why are you are required to resign please.
