THE Bahamas Football Association and the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology have announced that the games are all set for Match Day 1 of the Samuel P Haven Jr High School Soccer Nationals.
The games will be played at the Roscow AL Davies Soccer Field beginning 4:30pm May 7. All schools are excited and rearing to go as high school footballers seek to claim the title of the best school in the Bahamas.
And school pride will be on display.
The top seeds in the boys’ division are the defending champions Lyford Cay Dragons, who are looking to repeat. In the girls’ division, the Lady Dragons look to put their name in the books as the best girls team in the Bahamas.
Soccer fans and school mates are encouraged to come out and support their teams.
The match-ups for the first day of competition in the Samuel P Haven Jr High School Soccer Nationals 2019 are as follows:
MAY 7
4.30pm - Anatol Rodgers vs St Andrew (Girls)
5.40pm - Government vs Aquinas College (Boys)
6.30pm - CR Walker vs Sunland Baptist (Girls)
7.40pm - Lucayan International School vs CR Walker (Boys)
Schools with a bye into Match Day 2
Boys: Tabernacle Baptist Academy and Lyford Cay School
Girls: Tabernacle Baptist Academy and Lyford Cay School
