Discount Air Condition Supplies teamed with The Bahamas Technical and Vocational Institute (BTVI) to host a workshop on a new pre-insulated duct system for central air conditioning systems.
The workshop introduced the system to contractors, and BTVI’s heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) instructors and students.
The PIR-ALU is produced by Kingspan Insulation, a manufacturer of high performance rigid insulation products and insulated systems for building fabric and building services applications.
Its aluminum finish protects the panel from tough atmospheres, and is designed to achieve optimal hygiene in agricultural installations. It is anti-mold and antimicrobial, making it suitable for the climate of The Bahamas.
This was the first training by Kingspan Insulation in The Bahamas.
