POLICE on New Providence are seeking assistance in identifying and locating the men responsible for two armed robberies which occurred overnight.

In the first incident, shortly after 10pm on Wednesday a woman was standing in front of a residence on Hill Crest Drive, Seven Hill Estate, when she was approached by a male armed with a firearm, who robbed her of her handbag which contained cash and other items, before getting into a Honda sports utility vehicle and speeding away.

In the second incident, shortly after 1am yesterday a group of men were on the outside of a bar on Balfour Avenue, when they were approached by three men, one armed with a firearm, who robbed them of cash and other items before running away.

Investigations are ongoing.
