A WOMAN is dead following a traffic accident on San Salvador yesterday. According to reports given to police, shortly after noon a crash occurred on Queen’s Highway near the community of Sandy Point, involving a champagne coloured 2011 Hyundai sports utility vehicle and a black 2010 Nissan Note.
The drivers and passengers of both vehicles received injuries and were transported to the community clinic, where a woman was pronounced dead. The other injured persons are listed in serious condition and are expected to be flown to New Providence for further medical attention.
Officers from the RBPF’s Traffic Department in New Providence will travel to San Salvador to continue investigations into this incident.
