COCO Cay - Ocean Cay - South Eleuthera - Carnival/Freeport these cruise lines destinations might have some economics but we need explanations.
Coco Cay…without doubt extravagant $250m development…RCL says 250 Bahamians, PM says 400 who is correct? So this development was not built miraculous but not a single word of the participant of Bahamian Construction Cos and Bahamian Construction workers? We concede so much and then exempt that least let’s see the value to Bahamian Construction and employment or I suggest these islands are a one-way economic street and our way is against traffic!
MSC is close to completion of Ocean Cay…it is known a French Contractor won that deal but how many Bahamians were employed and what was the value? Secrets as usual.
We need to know upfront the Bahamian participation in construction for the upcoming Disney/Eleuthera deal - Carnival/Freeport - RCL/Our Lucaya deal…are any Bahamians benefiting from the construction side? If they were I am sure PM Minnis would have been talking that up, but he doesn’t?

Bahamians keep voting FNM and PLP. They love ill-treatment. Absolutely love it. They vote for it, in fact. They mark their X and say please mistreat me. Please treat me worse than a potcake. So? They get what they asked for.
