GRAND Bahama Police have officially released the name of the motorcyclist who died in a traffic accident last Thursday as 28-year-old Christoper (Palal) Cooper of Freeport.

Cooper was riding a Yamaha motorcycle around midnight on Thursday, October 31, on Seahorse Road when a traffic accident occurred involving a Honda vehicle. He was taken by EMS personnel to the Rand Memorial Hospital, but did not survive his injuries.

His death was a shock to the many, including staff of Pollo Tropical and Burger King Ranfurly Circus where he was the manager of those businesses. Cooper is the son of well-known businessman Paxton Cooper, and the grandson of Hayward Cooper, owners of the KFC, Burger King, and Pollo Tropical franchises.
