THE Bahamas Bowling Federation (BBF) has announced that from December 15-19, the Bahamas National Bowling Team Squad Trials will be held at Mario's Bowling and Entertainment Palace.

The training squad will consist of 24 members (twelve men and twelve women). The top six male and top six female finishers based on total pinfall will automatically qualify for the 2020 Bahamas National Bowling Training Squad.

The 5 TV finalists - male and female - from the Bahamas National Bowling Championships will automatically be added to the team as well as the winner of the World Cup trials.

If additional members are needed to complete the national training squad those members will be selected from the National Training Squad roll-off.

Please note that only Bahamian citizens, permanent residents and persons who have residency in the Bahamas for 12 months or more prior to December 14, 2019 are eligible to compete.

The Bowler of the Year points will be awarded based on the top 10 male and female placements.

The entry fee is $175 for BBF Members ($160 if paid by November 30, 2019) and $185 for Non-BBF Members.

There will be a late payment charge of $20 per player. The registration deadline is Friday, December 12.

The deadline for payment is Saturday, December 13.

• The trials shift dates and times are as follows:

  • Sunday, December 15 at 6pm.

  • Monday, December 16 at 7pm.
