IN a high scoring game on Monday night at the AF Adderley Gymnasium, the JD’s Seafood Shockers held off the Abaco Strong 103-99 in the NPBA men’s division one feature contest.

The division II opener saw the Asphalt Maintenance Pirates secure an 89-85 win over the Leno Eagles Nest.

Shockers 103, NPBA 99: William Rigby poured in 28 points with 13 rebounds and five steals to lead the JD’s Seafood to victory.

Horris McKenzie had 21 points and seven rebounds, Tamiko King had 16 points, nine rebounds and four assists, Rameko King had 11 points, eight rebounds and six block shots, Franko Bethell had 10 points and four rebounds and Spurgeon Johnson helped out with nine points and seven assists.

For Abaco Strong, Chauncey Cooper matched the game high honours with 28 points, 14 rebounds, three blocks, two assists and as many steals.

Timothy Bullard had 17 points, five assists, three rebounds and three steals, Tevin Hudson had 16 points, nine assists and six rebounds, Lorenzo Davis had 15 points and Malik Penn had 12 points, four rebounds, three steals and two assists.

Pirates 89, Eagles Nest 85: Valentino Simon had a big game with 15 points and 10 rebounds to lead Asphalt Maintenance to victory.

Stephon Johnson had 14 points with two rebounds and two steals, Antonio Hanna had 13 points, four rebounds, two assists and two steals, Uriah Rolle had 12 point, four rebounds, four steals and two assists and Kamal Murphy had 10 points, seven rebounds and six assists.

Bradley Altidor scored a game high 20 points with nine rebounds and five assists, Jonaldo Joseph had 19 points, five rebounds and five steals and both Schericho Anderson and Tyrell Butler chipped in with 20 apiece.
