As the world prepares to enter a new decade, the Whole Woman Network is ready to help women acquire the financial tools they need to make 2020 a year of success.

To this end, the organisation is hosting an event next month which will be open to 150 woman. It is being held under the theme “Women Making Money Moves in 2020.”

“The reason that we are hosting this forum at this time of the year is so that women have all of the information and tools they need to go away during the ending part of 2019 and come back strong in 2020 with a full-fledged action plan for their business moving forward,” said Regina Whylly, CEO of the Whole Woman Network.

“For so long, small businesses or entrepreneurial persons have been doing the same old, same old and expecting a different result. If you look around at larger businesses you will see that they start making their business plans and creating their strategies by the last quarter of the year. This I believe is so that if they have to make any changes during the upcoming year they have already factored in what is necessary. Basically, they are prepared for the new year and some of the unforeseen circumstances way ahead of time.”

Mrs Whylly said this approach is also one small businesses should adopt.

Some of the topics that will be included during the forum will be the creation of a business plan, steps to obtain funding, the creation of an online platform and the right pay portal for that platform, securing your business licence and marketing, shipping and the benefits of an online business versus a traditional brick and mortar structure.

The Whole Woman Network has partnered with organisations such as the Small Business Development Centre, Bahamas Micro Small Medium Enterprise among others to produce the event. It takes place on December 7 from 7pm to 11pm at Incudesk on Chesapeake Road

The Whole Woman Network are also behind the website thewholewoman.tv and producers of the Whole Woman television show. Since their re-launch on October 19, the organisation has embarked on a journey to reach women in every facet of their lives.

Mrs Whylly said this is in accordance with their motto: “Helping to improve the lives of women emotionally, spiritually, physically, financially and mentally”.

With that in mind, she said they are looking forward to making a positive impact on the lives of women by hosting events and providing information via the Whole Woman TV.
