• Who Needs Christmas?
The Carmichael Community Bible Church is hosting a new sermon series starting on December 1, from 10am - noon.
Pastor Stephen Edgecombe explores all the reasons why Christmas was and still is necessary: “The details of the Christmas story can seem unbelievable. So now, thousands of years after shepherds watched their flocks and wise men followed a star, you may be asking, ‘Who needs Christmas’. Well, as it turns out, we all do. Join us in this series as we find out that the world needed Christmas, God needed Christmas, and we still need Christmas — but maybe not for the reason you think.”
• 15th Pastoral Anniversary Banquet
In honour of Pastor Antonio Beckford’s 15 years of guiding New Light Ministries, a banquet will be held to celebrate his faithfulness in ministry. The event takes place this Friday at 7pm at the National Training Agency on Gladstone Road. Tickets are $40; the dress code is semi formal.
