Mario Brown City Bowling League MVP

THE most valuable player (MVP) from the City Bowling League on Monday night at Mario’s Bowling and Family Entertainment Centre was red hot Mario Brown of the Tenback Strikers-Lee’s Motor Works.

Brown lit up the lanes with an amazing performance as he mowed down the pins for a 268 high game and a 725 high three-game series, thus becoming the first member of the exclusive 700 Club this season.

The runner-up wasSonith Lockhart of Carib Construction with an impressive 672-second high set.

Edmund Deal and teammate Arturo Hutchinson of Bahamasair Flyers tied the second high game with 234. The leader in the ladies’ category was Driskell Rolle of the Asurewin Pocket Pleasers with a 237 high game and a 597 high three-game series.

She was followed by Tara Johnson of E & U Watercoolers with a 213-second high game and a 575-second high set.
