The great tragedy in the affair of the Two Former Prime Ministers is the pathetic, hapless figure of Perry Christie.
Does Christie not realise that he is being manipulated by Hubert Ingraham? Does he not realise that Ingraham is using him – not for the first time – but this time to achieve his hopeless dream of a political come-back?
Imagine that, a has-been PLP prime minister being used by a has-been FNM prime minister to regain lost glory!
But all Christie did for Ingraham was to let the cat out of the bag. What Ingraham really wanted was for Prime Minister Minnis to turn the country over to him! Incredible!
PS: If Ingraham wants to get back into power the least he should do is dress properly for a solemn occasion such as a lying-in-state.
