Going on the spiritual offensive - Churches unite to form prayer chain across Nassau -

More than 50 churches across Nassau, Grand Bahama and Abaco have united as Churches United in Christ Networking to host three nights of "Prayer, Repentance and Revival" for the Bahamas.

The crusade will be held this Sunday through Tuesday, October 1, at 6pm nightly. The theme is inspired by Joel 2: "Call a solemn assembly, let the priests weep between the porch and the altar."

A clarion call has been issued to all spiritual leaders, intercessors and all Bahamians to come together and "cry out and travail for our nation."

Then on Monday night people are asked to converge on Windsor Park at 7pm as ministers will lead the nation in a time of repentance, renewal and revival.

"On Monday night every church in New Providence is invited to join us in a night of street evangelism and prayer," said Apostle Henry Higgins of Creative Christian Arts Ministries International.

"Churches will set up outdoor services in their community from 6pm with a focus on winning souls and prayer. At 7.30pm, the churches will then move into a prayer motorcade and will all meet on Windsor Park. While this is happening at 7pm, all youth ministries will form a prayer chain from Prince George Dock to South Beach releasing a prayer over our nation for ten minutes. The youth will then all meet at Windsor park and at 8.30pm. Spiritual leaders will again lead a time of spiritual warfare for the nation.

"On Tuesday night we will return to Windsor Park at 7pm where their will be a night of 'Prayer, Praise and the Prophetic'. The prophets of the nation will be sharing what God has spoken to them concerning the nation and various praise teams and psalmists will be sharing prophetically through music while the liturgical dancers will be ministering through their dance prophetically."

Bishop Neil C Ellis, Apostle Leon Wallace and Prophetess Savaleta Fowler will also deliver nightly charges to the nation. The hosts for the crusade will be Prophetess Carol Coleby, Apostle Henry Higgins and Prophetess Patrice Smith. They will be joined by Magistrate Carolyn Evans who serves as event administrator and a host of spiritual leaders and prayer warriors..."and Bahamians who know that in light of the tragedies that our nation has faced due to Hurricane Dorian God is speaking to our nation and it is time to come before Him with a broken and contrite heart."

Special prayers will also be offered for the victims of hurricane Dorian and for the families who lost loved ones.

"We are inviting every Bahamian to come out and join us in this three nights of prayer as we prepare the Bahamas for the greatest move and shift that we have ever seen and experienced," said Apostle Higgins.
