A FREEPORT man has been arrested in connection with the recovery of a high-powered assault weapon that was found in bushes, near a public school earlier this week.
Superintendent of Police Terecita Pinder reported that officers of the Predator Unit proceeded to Schooner Lane, South Bahamia, shortly after 11am on Thursday where they arrested a male for assault with a deadly weapon.
Investigations are continuing into the matter.
