JUSTIN Roberts' great run in the Pro Circuit M15 in Cancun, Mexico, ended yesterday in the semi-finals against Maximiliano Estevez 2-6, 3-6.
The Bahamas Lawn Tennis Association congratulates Justin on his semi-final appearance.
Roberts will be participating in another pro circuit tournament at the Cancun Tennis Academy this week and then moves onto a M25 pro circuit tournament in a few weeks.
• The Bahamas Jr Fed Cup ends the tournament on a high note with a win over Jamaica.
Kinza Johnson, the number two player, was first up winning over Jamaica 6-1, 7-5.
Peyton Anderson, the No.1 seed, then lost 1-6 0-6. With the score tied up, the duo of Kayler Kanuka and Anderson sealed the win.
The coach of the team is Chelsi Russell. Bahamas ends in the 11th position.
The BLTA extends thanks to the team for their participation in the 2020 Junior Fed Cup in El Salvador.
