Bowling playoffs: J.S. Johnson advance to semi-finals

AFTER one night of bowling playoffs last week Thursday at Mario’s Bowling and Family Entertainment Centre, underdog J.S. Johnson has defeated the No.1 seed and pennant winners GSIM in a clean three-game sweep to advance to the semi-finals.

Scotia would also show up big and put a three-game sweep on Central Bank to also advance to the semi-finals.

A.F. Holdings and Fidelity barely avoided being wiped out by each other, sneaking in one win against their respective opponents, RBC and BOB.

These two series will continue this Thursday to conclude the 1st round of playoffs with the best-of-5 semi-finals commencing on March 5.

Once the 1st round has been concluded this week, the teams will be reseeded going into the semis with the highest seeded team competing against the lowest-seeded team and the remaining two teams being matched up.

“These playoffs are shaping up to be very interesting. We eagerly wait to see if the higher-seeded A.F. Holdings and Fidelity can find their rhythm and regain their regular-season momentum to make a comeback in these playoffs. Looking forward to seeing you on Thursday at the lanes,” said a press release.
