Rev Stephen Smith and the Ebenezer family of Exuma celebrated in prayer, praise, reflection and thanksgiving during their annual Watch Night Service.

It church sanctuary was decorated with New Year’s décor and boasted a feeling of great anticipation for a new beginning. R

ev Smith reflected on how the year 2019 was a very unusual year. Each congregant was touched in some form or other by grief, sickness, loss and various challenges, he said. Not to mention the catastrophic Hurricane Dorian which directly impacted Grand Bahama and Abaco causing havoc, destruction and even death. But God is faithful, said Rev Smith.

“He has not changed even though our circumstances many have. His word promises that He will never leave nor forsake us but will be with us to the very end. We must keep Jesus as head and allow His perfect will to be manifested in our lives with restoration.”
