For the sake of Brave Davis and Fred Mitchell, and anyone else who has a problem with the skin colour that God put them in, I do hope that someone, somewhere in the world, will soon find a way to alter their chromosomes, so that they can become white, at least for a little while.
The absolute asininity that they carried on with about Godfrey Kelly being knighted is beyond the beyond. In just a few days, the white people of this country will be obliged to celebrate “majority rule day” as if the majority of black Bahamians were only allowed to vote for the first time on January 10, 1967.
Many white Bahamians have a huge problem with Sir Lynden Pindling being knighted, as well as our capital’s airport being named after him. We suck it up, though.
Given the dreadful state of public education in the Bahamas today, (Average Grade D-) and particularly after 26 years of PLP Government, with another ten years more recently, one would think that these two would not be stupid enough to raise such an issue about Mr Kelly’s time at the helm of education.
They can, of course, say whatever they want today, but history will reveal all eventually, and I hope Messrs Davis and Mitchel can stand even a little taller than Sir Godfrey’s shoe laces.

It seem as though this letter writer is still in denial as to the racist UBP policies that permeated our Bahama land prior to 1967. While we Bahamians have forgiven the Conchy Joes for their misdeeds, we have not forgotten.

To forgive is to forget. Kelly's problem has always been that he can't forget. Don't ever make that your problem. Life's just too short.
That said, Sir Geoffrey Johnstone is long gone but Kelly will envy him until the day he dies. Kelly has always been nothing but a miserable undeserving elitist sod full of a sense of self-entitlement!
