The statement that 400 will be the worst-case scenario for the COVID-19 virus in the Bahamas is totally ridiculous.

This number was based on the cases from Wuhan China. Based on a population of 15 million against our 400,000 population but does not take into account the area of Wuhan against the Bahamas.

If this virus gets into the Bahamas we will be in serious trouble. The spread of the virus in our community would be devastating.

First, we do not have the support facilities to cope with a virus outbreak.

How many hospital beds are available here?

How many testing kits do we have here?

On Wednesday there were four cruise ships, with possible visitors of 8,000.

Were there any checks on the condition of their health when arriving? With the SARS outbreak, all arriving visitors to Canada were scanned for excessive temperature. Nobody is being checked or screened for arrivals into the Bahamas.

We are not ready for this, no matter what the government is stating

Make sure you are ready.
