AN 18-year-old was charged in Magistrate’s Court yesterday after recording and publishing a sexual video of a woman and another man.
Trevor Brown appeared before Chief Magistrate Joyann Ferguson-Pratt charged with two counts of voyeurism. He pleaded guilty to both charges.
The teenager admitted to recording a video of a nude female while she was engaged in sexual intercourse with another man sometime in March. He also admitted to publishing the sexually explicit video within that same timeframe, knowing it was obtained illegally.
During the arraignment, Magistrate Ferguson-Pratt said she was not in a position to hear the summary of the facts for the case. As a result, the defendant was remanded to the Bahamas Department of Correctional Services.
Before Brown was taken into custody yesterday, he was given a brief moment to speak to his parents. He returns to court today to be sentenced.
