Pair charged after shooting incident

TWO Freeport men were charged in the Freeport Magistrate’s Court on Monday in connection with last week’s shooting incident.

Reynaldo Hudson, 23, of No 13A Tasmin Circle, and Larry Artillus, 23, of No 94 Bonefish Street, appeared before Deputy Chief Magistrate Debbye Ferguson in Court One on two counts of possession of a firearm with intent by means to endanger life.

It is alleged that on May 7 at Freeport, the men were in possession of a firearm with intent to endanger the life of two men.

The pair pleaded not guilty to the charges. They were remanded to the Bahamas Department of Correctional Services until August 27 for trial.

Hudson was also charged separately for threats of death. He pleaded not guilty to the charge and the matter was also adjourned to August 27 for trial.
