I read in your paper that the business community do not have any ideas to improve the economy of Grand Bahama. There is a very simple solution.

Grand Bahama is the closest Caribbean island to the frozen north, make it a cheap and easy tourist destination.

To fly to Freeport from the frozen north requires flying somewhere else first, expensive and time-consuming.

Toronto to Freeport one stop $440can.

Toronto to Fort Lauderdale same distance $250can.

Freeport airport should benefit all the people of Grand Bahama.
