A TEENAGER, accused of harming two people last week, was yesterday denied bail ahead of his trial.

Antoine Burrows, 19, was accused of causing harm to his girlfriend and her brother on November 10.

He pleaded guilty during a hearing before Senior Magistrate Carolyn Vogt-Evans, but claimed his actions were not intentional.

As a result, Magistrate Vogt-Evans recorded a not guilty plea and adjourned the case to February 24 for trial.

In the meantime, Burrows was denied bail and remanded to prison.

He has a right to apply to the Supreme Court for bail.
