NEW Providence police are investigating a structural fire, which they believe caused the death of a man early Tuesday morning.
The home was completely destroyed.
According to police reports shortly after 12 midnight the fire department was called to a structural fire on Tyler Street.
On arrival, the unit found a single-story structure engulfed in flames. Police said the fire was extinguished a short time later.
A search of the dwelling was conducted during which the man’s body was discovered.
Investigations are continuing.
