BROADCASTING HQ SHUTS AGAIN FOR CLEANING

THE Broadcasting Corporation of The Bahamas’ headquarters at Harcourt “Rusty” Bethel Drive was closed yesterday for cleaning and sanitisation after another staff member tested positive for COVID-19.

“While this staff member has not been on duty for several days, management will have the concerned area(s) cleaned and sanitised as a precautionary measure,” a statement from the state-owned broadcaster said.

BCB will open for normal business today.

Last week, the building closed for cleaning after an engineer tested positive for the disease.

Similar exercises took place in August after staff members contracted the virus.
