The Ministry of Health reported that there were 39 new cases of COVID-19 and one confirmed death on Monday.
The total number of cases rose to 2,585 with 1,496 of those active.
Thirty-eight of the new cases were in New Providence and one was in Abaco.
The death of an 81-year-old man of New Providence on August 14th brought the death toll to 59.
