End corruption in Zimbabwe

EDITOR, The Tribune.

It is tearful that the police, local councils, the vehicle inspection department that issues driving licenses and the education department were among the most corrupt institutions. The resulting institutionalisation and systematisation of corruption in Zimbabwean political and economic spheres has been extensive. Critics and the opposition accuse Mnangagwa of failing to tackle high-level graft and say endemic corruption is one reason foreign companies are hesitant to invest in the country. President Emerson Mnangagwa has at times admitted to corruption among his cabinet ministers but lack of the evidence to prosecute.

It is true that corruption is overwhelming in Zimbabwe but we don’t have people who are prepared to give evidence, those causing corruption are those who are supposed to end the corruption in Zimbabwe. Corruption in Zimbabwe mainly consists of public officials demanding bribes for basic services like installing an electricity meter, approving a house plan to facilitating investment.

The heartless, clueless, careless and corrupt president Emerson Mnangagwa and his ZANU-PF government failed to end up the major causes of corruption such as greed of money, desires, higher levels of market and political monopolisation, low levels of democracy, weak civil participation and low political transparency, higher levels of bureaucracy and inefficient administrative structures, low press freedom and low economic freedom.

Zimbabwe was better off as Rhodesia. Also why the constant stream of letters talking about Zimbabwe? Are they going to flood us with migrants soon? Please go to Biden's USA instead.
