Three arrests over marijuana find

THREE men were arrested in Grand Bahama on Wednesday for possession of 2.5 pounds of suspect marijuana.

Police reported that shortly before 3pm, a team of officers from the Predator Units received a tip and intercepted a white bus at the junction of Hepburn Town and Warren J Levarity Highway.

Assistant Superintendent of Police Stephen Rolle said officers searched the bus and discovered a quantity of suspected marijuana.

He said three males were arrested for alleged conspiracy and possession of dangerous drugs with intent to supply. ASP Rolle said the suspected marijuana has an estimated street value of $2,500.
